Strikers U19 Orange girls finished runner-up at the Las Vegas Mayors Cup on Feb. 14-15, 2009. The team is coached by Murray Findlay, one of the few area coaches with a national "A" license and a former Scottish national team U18 player. The Strikers U19 Orange team has played in one of the top two competitive leagues in Ilinois every year since 2001 (IWSL "A" or "AB" U19 division), including two undefeated championship seasons, and has produced innumerable high school all-conference players and Div. I and Div. III college players.
