Led by coach Murray Findlay, the U19 won the prestigious Palatine Celtic on Labor Day, one of the top tournaments in the Midwest. Alex Hammond and Shelby Cozette scored in the 2-0 victory over Alliance SC (Mich.) in the final, and Lizzie Cusick and keeper Anita Balciunas anchored the defense. Strikers outscored the opposition 10-1 in the tournament.
