Multiple Strikers Champions at Memorial Day Tourney |

The Oak Park-River Forest Strikers club dominated the Park Ridge Memorial Day tournament, winning three championships outright and just missing two other titles. - Strikers girls and boys U12 Orange teams won the overall tournament trophy at U12. The girls defeated host Park Ridge 2-1 in the final on goals by Megan Aeschleman and Tricia Henegehan. Jamie Heneghan, Tamae Douglas and Leah Silver scored in preliminary victories.
- Boys U12 defeated PNA Patriots 5-2 for the championship behind goals from David Senk (2), Fedia Kourbatov, Justin Bruce and Eric Tynybekov.
- Boys U13 defeated Wilmette Wings 2-0 to win the white bracket championship, reaching the final with a 3-2 win over United FC, 3-0 win over Skomor and 4-4 tie against Alliance.
- U14 girls shut out three top-rated teams to reach the final -- 3-0 over Tinley Park, 2-0 over Arlington Aces, and 1-0 over Park Ridge -- before losing 1-0 in the title game against Park Ridge. Girls U12 Navy had an outstanding tournament, defeating Team Evanston 4-0 and reaching the championship game before losing a 2-1 heartbreaker and heading home with the runner-up trophy.
