What are tryouts? Our club holds open annual tryouts, open to all players who love soccer and have the desire and skill to play traveling soccer. Tryouts are run by professional coaches who are experts at evaluating youth players' current and potential ability. All players are evaluated fairly, without regard to whether they are current Strikers, where they live, or, their ability to pay. "Politics" play no part in our tryouts, which are run by the soccer professionals with absolutely no parental interference.

All teams form anew team each year. That means current Strikers and new players
must all try out to earn a team spot for the 2008-09 soccer year.

U8 – U14 Boys & Girls (June 1, 2008)
Tryouts for next year’s U8 through U14 boys & girls take place on Sunday, June 1st. Two locations this year: Longfellow field for U8 – U10 players.
OPRF High School Lake St. field for U11-U14’s.

High School Girls (May 18, 2008)
